Getting in the Halloween spirit? Curated by Kayleigh Ford, Edward Gokey and Stephen Singer, Bird Library’s latest exhibit focuses on Frankenstein. SU Art Museum opened a new exhibit by guest curator Theresa Moir Engelbrecht called “Wings of Glass: Richard Koppe’s Works on Paper.” Engelbrecht is giving a talk about her work along with SU Art Museum staff, and cocktails and refreshments will be provided. The reception will take place Oct. 25 from 6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

As the latest installment of the School of Art’s Visiting Artist Lecture series, the school will host Steve Brodner. He is an illustrator, caricaturist, journalist and political commentator who has received awards from the Society of Illustrators, Art Directors Club and the Society of Publication Designers, among others. His speech will take place in the Shaffer Art Building on Oct. 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
